Workers should be given what they need.

I am sharing this testimony to teach someone reading this that God cannot be mocked indirectly. I was presently while this sister was given this testimony. This is over 3 years in my early ministry. This sister's child was sick . She heard about a healing and deliverance ministry around her ; she went there . They said to her , she have to buy some spiritual items to be used to pray for her child. She went out from there with her child and returned her home according to her testimony and did not go back again. When she arrived her home she reasoned ; “ why must I spend money for spiritual items before my child will be prayed for, and got healed ? 

According to her ; she cried all the night and the Lord answered her prayer and her child was healed in the morning.

That was a great testimony indeed.

She added again the second testimony. She used to have a chronic pains in her lower abdomen. After her last medical checkup, the Doctor said that she must undergo an operation for her problem to be solved and the doctor requested for 120$ . She pleaded with the doctor and he accepted to do the operation for 95$ .

Her testimony was ; the doctor took 95$ instead of 120$ and the operation was successful yet in need of undergoing another operation to terminate the second strange growth that is appearing again behind where she did the first one . She then asked the people of God to support her by raising another money to undergo the second operation.

These where the conclusion of her testimony.

Brethren, I know that you did not understood from where this testimony was against God indirectly. 

Listen, she prayed overnight and God healed her child because she did not want to spend money ($8) to buy the spiritual items the man of God ordered her to provide. 

Second, the operation that she underwent for 95$  in the hospital. Many other sisters that had the same problem has received their healing from God through the same man of God that charges 8$ for spiritual items. 

What I am trying to say here ; this sister love to spend money elsewhere to look for solution to her problem but did not want to spend money in the house of God to buy spiritual items. 

She said; it is written, freely you have received and freely you shall minister it .

That was her only reason .

Just as someone reading this have the same reason.

Let me open the eye of your spiritual understanding now .

After Jesus commissioned his disciples he added.

• do not carry a beggar's bag for the trip or an extra shirt or shoes or a walking stick. Workers should be given what they need. (Matt 10:10)

Jesus said, my workers should be given what they need ( what a stingy generation) .

Let us read the testimony of Apostle Paul.

• 1 Corinthians 9:9 For it is written in the Law of Moses: "Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain." Is it about oxen that God is concerned? 10 Surely he says this for us, doesn’t he? Yes, this was written for us, because whoever plows and threshes should be able to do so in the hope of sharing in the harvest . 11 If we have sown spiritual seed among you, is it too much if we reap a material harvest from you? 12 If others have this right of support from you, shouldn’t we have it all the more? But we did not use this right. On the contrary, we put up with anything rather than hinder the gospel of Christ. 13 Don’t you know that those who serve in the temple get their food from the temple, and that those who serve at the altar share in what is offered on the altar? 14 In the same way, the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel. 15 But I have not used any of these rights. And I am not writing this in the hope that you will do such things for me, for I would rather die than allow anyone to deprive me of this boast.

• 2 Corinthians 11:7 Was it a sin for me to lower myself in order to elevate you by preaching the gospel of God to you free of charge? 8 I robbed other churches by receiving support from them so as to serve you.9 And when I was with you and needed something, I was not a burden to anyone, for the brothers who came from Macedonia supplied what I needed. I have kept myself from being a burden to you in any way, and will continue to do so.

Listen, Paul made it clear, he rather die than to have anyone deprive him of his boasting . So that was his own choice , he refused to preach without hindering people. Yet it was his right from God to receive their living from the gospel.

He later confessed ; Was it a sin for him to lower himself in order to elevate them by preaching the gospel of God to them free of charge?  That was his question.

He said again He robbed other churches by receiving support from them so as to serve them . for the brothers who came from Macedonia supplied what Paul needed. That is why Paul kept himself from being a burden to them in any way, and he added that he will continue to do so. That was the conclusion of Paul .

I am talking to the descendants of the pharisees of this present day that condemned Jesus the author of life think that they were rendering service to God .

They are presently talking anyhow about the matters they do not understood. 

Listen  faultfinders, this is the voice of Almighty God. The Lord's commands .

• Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain.

Allow the Ox to eat little from the grain .

•  If anyone have sown spiritual seed among you, it is not too much if that person reap a material harvest from you ! 

• The Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel. ( It doesn't matter how a man used by God process it)

• If you can not make the use of this right but preferred to boast like paul did . Do not speak against those that made  the use  of this rights.

• Was Paul not receiving salary from other church ? 

Listen, God's servant deserve his wages from you ( evil stingy generation, faultfinders) . 

I am not happy about these whole critics and accusations about this matter in the body of Christ . Even some were accusing us recently because our ministry has olive oil for sell . Let me ask them now ; where did they want us to steal those bottles of olive oil in the market in order to dash it to them ? Because they desired everything to be free . Do not think that you are good and intelligent when you refuses to buy spiritual items; to be used to attend to you . Rather you are fooling yourself by spending money elsewhere without revolving the matter completely. 

Please, a word is enough for the wise .
