To tithe is not a weekly obligation
God declared that all men must appear before him three times a year. And no man shall appear before God emptied handed , both big and small . He said to the Israelites in one ocasión , the rich are not to give more than a half shekel and the poor are not to give less when you make the offering to the LORD to atone for your lives. This showed how equal men are regarded before God , but human philosophy has thought all men the opposite, even when Christ have revealed the end of the rich and Lazarus yet Satan had hardened men's understanding not to focus about eternal life.
God said in another verse : There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore I command you to be openhanded toward your fellow Israelites who are poor and needy in your land.
However, there need be no poor people among you, for in the land the LORD your God is giving you to possess as your inheritance, he will richly bless you.
But the task is this : “ IF only you fully obey your God “ . God will bless you as he has promised, and you will lend to many nations but will borrow from none.
do not show ill will toward the needy among your fellow Israelites and give them nothing. They may then appeal to the LORD against you, and you will be found guilty of sin. Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the LORD your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to.
This is not my point here .
Let me tell you directly, today's Christian's weekly tithing is not actually scripted nor unexpected by the spirit. But divine ordaintion made men to understood divine obligation about giving generously to God, not that you must; only those whose hearts were moved to give because God loved a generous giver . And this specific obligation regarded appearing before God three times a year .
Another thing is this : you must give to God where he chose not where men has chosen; callings in church. It is only a good farmer that knows ; Sandy soil is not clay soil,,,, . Every cheerful giver or sower knows which soil is good for agriculture because his generosity must have made him understand this because of the harvest he had encountered.
Take note of my hand writing.
Do not say , you do not have anything to give to God.
Jesus said, only the poor widow gave the best offering because she gave out of her poverty; what her life depends on.
2 . You must give to God where he chose.
That's the major believer's problem , many lacked the spirit of discernment.
It is a pity moment for vague believers on this case .
In all, it is time to appear before God . Be part of it, be generous to God's kingdom.
David said, he cannot give to God anything that did not cost him . He said again, ooh Lord “ what I am giving to you was actually not mine but yours .
It is true!
Every house was built by a man but God Almighty is the builder indeed .
